Prepare for one more Wes Anderson movie to make you’re feeling starry-eyed. This time, fairly actually.

Immediately, the trailer dropped for Wes Anderson’s newest movie, Asteroid Metropolis, which sees a sequence of inexplicable occasions and lovely conundrums unfold at a “Junior Stargazer conference” in an American desert city in 1955. The movie, which he co-wrote with frequent collaborator Roman Coppola, arrives in theaters June 16. As normal, the filmmaker is bringing again a handful of his favourite stars to seem within the ensemble forged (together with Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Edward Norton, Stephen Park, Tony Revolori, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, and Jeffrey Wright), in addition to some newcomers to the Anderson-verse (resembling Steve Carell, Hong Chau, Bryan Cranston, Hope Davis, Rupert Buddy, Tom Hanks, Maya Hawke, Margot Robbie, Jake Ryan, and Liev Schreiber).

Within the trailer, a handful of personalities converge at a youngsters’s astronomy conference on Asteroid Day in Asteroid Metropolis, commemorating when a meteorite fell to the city. Jason Schwartzman and the boy he is taking care of (Eighth Grade breakout Jake Ryan) appear to return throughout interactions from extraterrestrial life, and naturally, very charming chaos appears prefer it’s set to ensue. There’s glimpses of Maya Hawke as an teacher to the younger house cadets, Tom Hanks in his Anderson movie debut, some unbelievable retrofuturism manufacturing design, and an entire lot extra to sit up for.
