Alt-pop up-and-comer Zeph has shared that her debut album, character growth, is on the way in which (out June 16 by way of Hopeless).
Together with the announcement, she dropped a brand new single, “you don’t like me like that.” Zeph initially debuted the beautiful observe dwell when she opened for Waterparks in 2021 and says its message facilities round “being bored with a man main me on.”

“It’s about me falling for it although I already know he doesn’t truly like me and wishing he would simply outright inform me so I may get closure and transfer on. I wrote the primary half as a brief music then completed the remainder of it after I opened some reveals on a Waterparks’ tour. The way in which Awsten would yell the lyrics and even change them as much as work together with the group impressed me to be extra deliberate with how my very own lyrics would play on stage, which is why I wrote ‘he’s making me go fucking loopy’ with the ‘go fucking loopy’ half over the break within the music!” Zeph shares.
